I tell everyone that dance shaped my life. I've been taking ballet and jazz since I was three, which opened doors to be a dance agent and work in the membership departments of top ballet companies in New York and Houston.
Ballet introduced me to the French language, and I've been in love with French culture ever since. French Renaissance Queens are as fascinating as Madame Cliquot, and the Paris Opera Ballet's architecture is as beautiful as its dancers.
Free time is spent in places where I can see, hear, or taste something inspiring.
Studying French and ballet has brought great joy as well as the focus and discipline required in fundraising and events.
I hope to see you at one of my events or perhaps create an experience with you in the arts, French, or another donor-inspired space.
My career began in university marketing and events, where I focused on donor cultivation efforts. For 10 years, I managed campaigns, large-scale celebrations, and sponsorship activations ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 for events such as LSU's Sesquicentennial, Fall Fest, Homecoming, and the Candlelight Celebration. During this time, I also collaborated with individuals like Nancy Little to promote the performing arts, enriching our community's cultural landscape. *Photos from LSU University Relations.
I've grown up dancing and spent a lifetime in the performing arts. For me, the arts provide a necessary quality of life; without them, life resembles a string of mundane Tuesdays. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering for ballet boards and have led donor cultivation efforts through membership campaigns for both New York City Ballet and Houston Ballet.

Working for top artistic brands such as New York City Ballet and Houston Ballet, I, Nancy Little, have created exclusive brand experiences that focus on donor cultivation. These experiences bring together the visual, performing arts, and culinary arts in meaningful ways.

With more than 20 years of experience, I, Nancy Little, specialize in helping nonprofit organizations and companies enhance donor cultivation through high-value experiences for their donors, audiences, and clients via events and fundraising campaigns in the performing arts. I've raised over $325,000 in corporate sponsorship and successfully managed individual donor campaigns with over 2,000 members. Like a dance, connecting donors and businesses to projects is a creative and fulfilling aspect of Little By Little's work.
